Welcome to the Building Services Website
The Building Services Team is responsible for activities related to the construction, remodeling, repair and demolition of buildings and structures including their interiors. By reviewing building permit applications, issuing building and related permits, checking plans, and inspecting buildings and properties the Team can ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. The Team is responsible for enforcing all applicable building, mechanical, accessibility, plumbing, and housing codes and laws adopted by the City and State to ensure a safe and habitable building environment.

All submittals must adhere to the 2009 International Fire, Building, Residential, Existing Building, Mechanical, Fuel, Gas, and Energy Conservation Codes.

*Electronic submittals/revisions are accepted through the website for RESIDENTIAL submittals only.
COMMERCIAL submittals/revisions require one paper set and one cd in pdf format to be submitted at the customer service counter from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
*ALL revisions and/or additional information submitted for a commercial or residential permit require a routing/revision form.

Inspectors are available from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
